I have to admit to really enjoying Prison Break, 3 seasons on now since the very beginning, but lately I've been thinking: is it somehow wrong to watch shows made by Fox, considering their mass-media role in 'the US public consciousness' (or lack of it), what with the war, Bush, all the pointless death and destruction in Iraq?

Can we righteously separate the bullshit news factor from the entertainment factor? If not, then is it time to boycott Fox products altogether? Does anyone feel strongly enough? Do I? I've never had patience for Fox News anyway, or TV in general even, but does this mean boycotting the Simpsons, Prison Break and/or The Sarah Connor Chronicles?
