Very interesting. I dont think that the globalization of english will change english for everyone. In the States and England there is standardization that will always be our English in one form or another. English vocab seems to have a more infectious quality to it that makes it worm its way into any language. I think we will see more of what is the case in many parts of Africa, pidgins.
Since the west controls most of the internet and most of the high tech industry, the garbled pidgin of rural China wont have much of an effect. Unless of course 300 million chinese peasants flood the west all at once.
